Now that I have looked into and analysed the codes and conventions of front covers I need to touch upon the contents page. This contents page of NME is a good example. Across the top of the page it reads 'NME this week'. This lets us know that we are veiwing the contents page, this is very simple. The main feature story o this magazine is shown in the middle of the page with a large image and perview of writting. On the right hand side in a collum you can find the rest of the magazine contents, shown i seperate sub ections to make the readers life even easier. Down the left hand side anther collum lyes. This collum contains a 'Band Idex', telling thereader which bands are featured in this months copy of NME. This contents page is incredibly simple yet very effective, and it gets the information over in an easy, excessable way.
